International Service, BCIC (I-Serv)

“From all nations… worshipping God forever”

Vision statement:
Our vision is to be a meeting place for people from all nations united by the name and work of Jesus Christ in the presence of God’s Holy Spirit; an equipping place to prepare believers for service to one another and others in the world beginning in Tanzania; a preparation place to worship God forever.

Scripture: Revelation 7:9, 10 (NIV)
After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

Welcome statement:

We want to welcome you to worship in the International Service (I-Serv) of Biblical Counseling and Intercession Centre (BCIC). This ministry is the extension of the ministry of BCIC meeting at Mbezi Beach next to the Interchick Company where thousands of believers in Jesus worship God each week. The founder and leader of this spiritual unit of the registered society known as Word and Peace Organization (WAPO) is Bishop Sylvester Gamanywa and together with his team of workers the vision to start I-Serv began more than a year ago (for more information, statement of faith and history of WAPO Mission, log onto the website www.wapotz.org).

It is our firm believe that God is raising up I-Serv to be an important part of the vision of WAPO Mission to help fulfil the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) beginning in Dar es Salaam. The ministry of I-Serv will be in English, for the whole family and for people of all nations. As we continue together we will be able to expand on the meaning and importance of our vision. At present we will be meeting for our Sunday services at HOPAC campus. If you are new to this ministry and would like to be a part of what God is doing please give us your contact by filling out our Introduction Questionnaire at the Welcome Centre.

We want to know how we can better serve you and help you to serve God and others as a follower of Jesus Christ. Please allow us the privilege of meeting you personally and speaking a blessing to your life. God bless you and enjoy the presence of God’s Spirit to help and heal you so you can be a good witness of Jesus wherever you are.

Meeting at Haven of Peace Academy every Sunday at 9am
